Engage My Faith Daily

Description

I need to remember to engage my faith daily in what I think, say, and do. We do not inherit the promises of God by habit and good behavior, but faith and patience. Keep faith active!

Hebrews 6:12

12 so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

2 Corinthians 5:7

for we walk by faith, not by sight.

Romans 1:17

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

James 2:17

17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

James 2:22

22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works;

2 Thessalonians 1:11

11 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power,

Galatians 3:2-11

Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? Did you suffer so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith— just as Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”?

Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.” So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

10 For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” 11 Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”
